Dallas’s Luxury Hotel – The Romantic Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek was the location of choice for our Bridal Photography Session. Lyndsey and Adam are married and the wedding day has happened. With that I am able to finally share Lyndsey’s fabulous images that we enjoyed photographing at the iconic Mansion. She wore Valentino Bridal Shoes and wore a gorgeous gown from Neiman Marcus Bridal Salon of Dallas Texas. The flowers were provided by Bows & Arrows Flowers with a fragile elegant design. Lauren and Brian are engaged to be married. We got together with their two amazing dogs to share in their very special artistic engagement photography session. We wandered through the streets of the Bishop Arts District in Dallas Texas to use the artistic surroundings of the neighborhood. This area is one of Dallas’s iconic areas and that is what Lauren and Brian were looking for as a backdrop for their photos. Take a look at how adorable these pictures came out.

Raven and Jerome are engaged to be married. This adorable couple has traveled to many beautiful locations and were engaged in Paris. So it made sense to arrange their engagement photography session at an airport. We had the privilege of using a very cool retro 1948 Cessna airplane as backdrop for the occasion at the McKinney Texas airport. We then went over to the beautiful Bella Donna Chapel in McKinney to complete the photos in a different setting! The Bella Donna Chapel is set in a wonderful location that gives the feeling as though you are in Italy. I love it and am so happy to shoot at this exquisite spot. This year I focused on joining the committee for Relay for Life Race held at the Cain Middle School in Rockwall Texas and the Survivor dinner that was held at the Mesquite Convention Center in Mesquite Texas. In the fight against cancer, silence is the last thing we need. Your local American Cancer Society Relay For Life event is a great place to take action and make noise. The Relay For Life movement features community and campus events that offer an inspiring opportunity to honor cancer survivors, promote how individuals can reduce their cancer risk, and raise money to help end cancer. Today, with the support of thousands of volunteers, the American Cancer Society is helping save more than 400 lives a day. And we won’t stop until we finish the fight against cancer! Many donators supported this cause and were incredibly giving in their time, energy, money, love and kindness. My heart was full from being able to get to know some of my fellow survivors and families, team participants and generous supporters of this disease. My wish is that one day we are not able to do a function like this and have found a treatment that will help everyone that we love to heal and not leave our sides. I myself am a cancer survivor and I also have people that are very very close to my heart that have fought this awful epidemic. I am so grateful to everyone that teamed up with us to aid in this cure. Keep strong and fight long! Jonah Simon had a beautiful Bar Mitzvah Service this past week in Dallas. The Temple Emanu-el is the first Reform Jewish congregation in North Texas, and is the largest synagogue in the South. This synagogue is a magnificent location for any boy to have his Mitzvah service the coming of age.
The party that followed was designed with such great detail and held at the Hotel Palomar. The theme was well planned by Krisen Powell of Amazing Events in Dallas – and was extremely cool with a Rock and Roll theme complete with brick walls, rock and roll posters of all of the top legends of rock, drums as end tables, old rock album sleeves as table center pieces, rocked out pillows and a great selection of arcade games. The guests were greeted at the door where they were presented with their own personalized Concert ticket for their seating. The food was equally outstanding with fresh sushi, asian cuisine, sea bass and more for the adults. The kids were served traditional mac and cheese, tator tots and chicken fingers and delectable desserts.

This beautiful baby girl was brought into this world October 27, 2013. I was so thrilled to be asked to be her Newborn Photographer in Fort Worth Texas which was the location for our Baby Portrait session. I was blessed to be able to photograph her with her new mommy and daddy while she posed with the family dog that shyly participated in the images. Of course we did have to get a few images without any clothing as well! Who can’t resist the beauty of a newborn. We used a bit of a theme for the fall season and brought her outside for her first professional shoot and did some adorable posing in various ways that gives a great selection for her mom and dad to have for years to remember her new beginning of life. I just love love love babies and any opportunity to take portraits of them is always such an honor. Here are a few of my favorites of Saylor with her Mom and Dad. Take a look and enjoy!
When Bryna of Dr. Delphinium announced her pregnancy, Rachel of Rachel Events knew exactly how to put together her fabulous vintage floral themed baby shower. Perfectly designed with finger sandwich BLT’s and sweet potato fries served in adorable chevy striped packaging. An exquisite German Chocolate Cake with handmade fluffy flowers adorned complete with a vintage knife and server. The setting of Brewed is perfect for a relaxing cozy urban feel with ultra comfort of their guests in mind. The fact that Bryna is an amazing florist came into play on the design of her baby shower. Adorable cards were made with a sign “All new mothers need advice for their ‘lil’ seeds” was placed on the table for guests arrival to provide mommy with a bit of advice and little floral cards that were used to be planted in a soiled pot. The guests then left with the cutest mini ready to plant seeded pots with a “Just add water” sign delicately placed in the center. Striped vintage straws of course were used to serve the wonderful drinks that Brewed of Fort Worth served!! A perfect Baby Shower for a perfect mommy to be!
