Dallas Arboretum Chihuly Glass Display Photography

Dallas weddings aren’t the only thing I love to photograph – Venice glassblowing is something that I was drawn to when I visited Italy years ago. So when I found out that the Dallas Arboretum was displaying Dale Chihuly’s work of art – I knew it was an opportunity I could not miss. My husband and daughter and I went on a day trip and had an amazing day of it. I would recommend this botanical garden filled glass blown art to the art lovers out there. Here are some images to get a taste of what I photographed at the Arboretum. The Boats were my favorite that were designed in Finland and were filled with different glass shapes and Niijima Floats. These were inspired by fishing floats that Chihuly collected as a child. The combination of glass within nature was gorgeous.

There was not one thing missing from the details that Boutique Design arranged for this party. I am just so honored to have been hired to photograph this exquisite night. The dj was killer from Powerstation Events and their lighting was amazing. The band from Dallas, Texas – Reckless Kelly rocked the house and played their live music for a portion of the night as well. Thanks again for having me Boutique Design

Corporate Photography for World Wildlife Fund in Boston MA, State Room

This week was a corporate event photography fund raising event to Save the Tigers through the World Wildlife Fund in Boston Ma at at the State Room. The goal of the WWF is to gain partners to play a crucial role in their conservation efforts to protect the Tigers. WWF partners with communities and grassroots groups which are powerful allies in the effort to stop poaching and to resolve issues such as land management and human-wildlife conflict. WWF (World Wildlife Fund) is the only global conservation organization with tiger conservation programs in nearly every country where wild tigers still exist – Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, Russia, Thailand and Vietnam.

This meeting was very educational and truly gave a clear understanding of the help they need for this great cause.

New York Botanical Garden Orchid Dinner at Mandarin Oriental NYC

This past Wednesday evening, the New York Botanical Garden‘s annual Orchid Dinner honored Tiffany & Co. for their foundation’s decade of support as the Founding Sponsor of The Orchid Show.  David M. Handy Events designed a jaw-dropping table for Tiffany & Co. and was the talk of the evening.  Orchids were draped throughout the table adorned with drips of the iconic Tiffany & Co. blue gift boxes and white ribbon.  This was a celebration for Tiffany & Co.’s  as they are about to celebrate its 175th anniversary.

Boutique owner Laura Vinroot Poole‘s table, executed with John Lupton, Andrew Thomas and Leontine Linens, was an explosion of color. And I of course loved the orange monogramming on the napkins!
