Dallas weddings aren’t the only thing I love to photograph – Venice glassblowing is something that I was drawn to when I visited Italy years ago. So when I found out that the Dallas Arboretum was displaying Dale Chihuly’s work of art – I knew it was an opportunity I could not miss. My husband and daughter and I went on a day trip and had an amazing day of it. I would recommend this botanical garden filled glass blown art to the art lovers out there. Here are some images to get a taste of what I photographed at the Arboretum. The Boats were my favorite that were designed in Finland and were filled with different glass shapes and Niijima Floats. These were inspired by fishing floats that Chihuly collected as a child. The combination of glass within nature was gorgeous.
