Lee Gilbert proposed to Carla Brooks after many years of crossing paths. While attending a weekly Happy Hour for several years with a group of fellow veterans known as the Band of Brothers, Lee finally met Carla. They fell in love over many dates of dancing and realizing how amazing each other hit it off. After two years of dating, Lee proposed to Carla appropriately in font of his “Band of Brothers”. They are now happily married and had an amazing wedding at their home in Heath Texas.

What I found to be the sweetest touch was the First United Methodist Church of Heath had their choir sing during the procession of the ceremony. AMAZING!!! The music that was playing during the night was a DJ that had everyone up and dancing all night long with a great selection of Country, Pop and current top hits from Gus Garza’s company. Their were several phenomenal wedding day vendors that were perfect in every way. Great music, great food -Zachs Cateringand drinks and of course, great friends… The guest list was of 250 people which also included the Heath, TX Mayor Lorne Liechty and Icon Representative Ralph Hall of Rockwall Texas and many wonderful friends and family. This wedding was very laid back and classy at the same time. I was so happy to have a part of this union between two beautiful individuals and their united families.
