Allison + Anthony Marry at Old City Park Dallas

Allison + Anthony Marry at Old City Park Dallas Heritage Village – What was so unexpected of this Fall wedding day was the incredible vintage feel of the architecture and grounds of the Old City Park in Dallas Texas. I adore anything vintage and retro for photography. The combination is creative and artistic looking without having to add any effects. The old wallpaper with the tiny flowers on them reminds me of growing up and sleeping over my grandmothers house. The old buildings on the grounds are very cool and a very fun find in the middle of Dallas. The streets are still in tact as they had been years and years ago.

It was raining very badly this weekend and when I arrived to the old bridal house I found there were quite a bit of umbrellas sitting on their head waiting to be used once again for the storms that were due to pour on us all day. Well, lucky timing has been on my side since I started photographing weddings years ago. It always seems that just at the very right moment, the storms stop and the groom and bride are able to fulfill their dream of getting married outside near this great fountain.

First we had the first look and in doing so this gave Anthony the last minute thought to test it and bring the chairs out or their ceremony. We did just that and luckily the rain held off just until they said “I DO”. Really, just the last minute. Wow, we were lucky to have been able to do this for the ceremony!

I was excited and elated to get some fabulous out door images before the rain came. Here are some of the wedding day pictures for viewing as a sneak peak.

Rockwall Texas Band of Brothers Member Get’s Married – Lakeside Heath Texas Home

Lee Gilbert proposed to Carla Brooks after many years of crossing paths. While attending a weekly Happy Hour for several years with a group of fellow veterans known as the Band of Brothers, Lee finally met Carla. They fell in love over many dates of dancing and realizing how amazing each other hit it off. After two years of dating, Lee proposed to Carla appropriately in font of his “Band of Brothers”. They are now happily married and had an amazing wedding at their home in Heath Texas.

What I found to be the sweetest touch was the First United Methodist Church of Heath had their choir sing during the procession of the ceremony. AMAZING!!! The music that was playing during the night was a DJ that had everyone up and dancing all night long with a great selection of Country, Pop and current top hits from Gus Garza’s company. Their were several phenomenal wedding day vendors that were perfect in every way. Great music, great food -Zachs Cateringand drinks and of course, great friends… The guest list was of 250 people which also included the Heath, TX Mayor Lorne Liechty and Icon Representative Ralph Hall of Rockwall Texas and many wonderful friends and family. This wedding was very laid back and classy at the same time. I was so happy to have a part of this union between two beautiful individuals and their united families.

The weekend also showed a great selection of design and talent for those of who are planning a Mitzvah celebration or Sweet Sixteen. The Alden Castle was recently renovated and updated from what formerly was the Veronique. See for yourself what a beautiful dreamy new look Alden Castle has to offer. Their vendors which were responsible for an exquisite showcase were amongst the top that the Boston area has to offer for weddings and events. The Candy Heaven candy bar was a great touch for any event that wants to cure the sweet tooth that most of us have.
